Come and learn how to create your own Ukrainian Easter Egg. Using dye and wax, you will learn how to follow a pattern and create a beautiful Pysanky! This program is for teens and adults, as you will be handling raw eggs, dye, and a lit candle. Please wear something you won't mind getting messy. All supplies are provided for you, just bring yourself and learn a new hobby!
About Kati Bourque:
Kati learned the art of Pysanka 20 years ago. While she is not Ukrainian, she loves the creativity of decorating eggs. She loves teaching folks about the history of Pysanka and how to create their own eggs. Kati does not consider herself a "crafty" person, but loves the history and art that goes into making a beautiful egg. Her motto is "If I can do it, anyone can!"
Registration for this event has now closed.
