Planting Seeds of Change
Tuesday, March 126:00—7:00 PMActivity RoomFlint Memorial Library147 Park Street, North Reading, MA, 01864
Get ready for spring! Join the Ipswich River Watershed Association for an "action party." During this "action party," we will take action to keep our water clean. We'll use clay, potting soil, and native wildflower seeds to make seed balls, which you can hold onto until warm weather hits. Then, you can toss your seed ball on the ground and watch your seeds scatter!
Come learn why more native plants in the ground means more, cleaner water for people and nature. Take action to protect our water resources, and have fun doing it! Be prepared to get your hands a little dirty.
The Ipswich River Watershed Association is a group of residents, scientists, businesses and community leaders concerned about the health of the Ipswich River and its watershed. Our aim is to protect nature and make sure there is enough clean, safe, reliable water for people, fish and wildlife. Learn more about the IRWA here.
All ages are welcome, children must be accompanied by a caregiver. Space is limited, please register in advance!
