July's book is Memorial Drive: A Daughter's Memoir by Natasha Trethewey. Trethewey, a two-time Poet Laureate and Pulitzer Prize winner, offers piercing insights into the lasting effects of racism and domestic abuse and lends a compelling voice to the shared human experience of the sudden loss of a loved one.
