Mindful Meditation Series with Laura Miranda

Join Laura Miranda, LMHC, of the North Reading Police Department and Community Impact Team, for a weekly half-hour Mindful Meditation series on Wednesday evenings in June. If you are interested in seeing if meditation is for you, or if meditation is something you practice every day – this workshop is for you!

The schedule for each session of this series is as follows:

  • June 9th: Guided Visualization – A guided meditation designed to support you in “traveling” through a place of serenity and comfort.
  • June 16th: Body Scan – A guided meditation focusing on relaxing each individual body part, concluding with a sense of calm over the entire body.
  • June 23rd: Extending Compassion – A practice done to mentally extend compassion towards someone or something you may be finding challenging.
  • June 30th: Breath Awareness – A guided meditation focusing on deep belly breathing to slow down our nervous system.
