Jolabokaflod (yo-la-bok-a-flot) is an Icelandic tradition in which books are given as Christmas gifts and opened on Christmas Eve, after which the evening is spent reading the books and eating chocolate! 

Drop in to the library on the first day of winter for a hot cup of coffee or hot chocolate with the book you’re currently reading (or your favorite) for a cozy read-in!
